Casey Trees
Casey Trees felt boxed in by their website design. There were frontiers to explore online that simply didn’t fit in their outdated look and feel. It was time for a change! They were ready for a captivating new website that would highlight its offerings and achievements while being easy to navigate using mobile devices.
Animal Welfare League of Alexandria
AWLA had a web presence that needed some help. Firefly was recommended to them by another animal welfare organization – and we took them to a whole new level.
Colon Cancer Alliance
Based in New York City, the Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA) is the oldest and largest national patient advocacy organization dedicated to ending the suffering caused by colon cancer. In order to increase rates of screening and survivorship, the CCA provides patient support, public education, supports research and conducts advocacy work across America.
Midwest Democracy Network
The Midwest Democracy Network (MDN) is an alliance of political reformers and policy researchers committed to improving democratic institutions in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. They advocate for a political system that will create a healthy economy, good jobs, access to health care and quality schools. MDN was launching a new collaborative campaign with other organizations and partnered with Firefly to design and build a website for the initiative.
Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc.
The mission of Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc. (BBC) is to enhance the quality of life for residents of Cleveland's Ward 5 by initiating and cultivating housing, retail, employment, and recreation opportunities through effective partnerships with residents, community groups, government, corporations and institutions. They were doing great work but it was not reflected in their online presence. BBC needed a fresh new website that would be cost effective, easy to maintain, and importantly - add online fundraising tools. They had a very (very) tight budget and Firefly was ready for the challenge!
Camp Nejeda
At Camp Nejeda, youth with diabetes are given the opportunity to live, if only for one or two weeks, in a world where having diabetes is the norm. At Camp Nejeda children with diabetes are free to be just children. This normalizing of their condition combines with both formal and informal educational moments to promote good diabetes management and healthy, active living. Camp Nejeda had decided to enter the Convio Go! program. They needed a design to be developed that took full advantage of the Convio Online Marketing tools as well as the Go! program components.
Packard Center
The Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins supports collaboration with and funding of the world's best ALS scientists so that they can continuing working to develop new treatments and find a cure for ALS. The Packard Center believes the hope for ALS is in science. Each year the Center holds a Fiesta 5K run in Baltimore, MD. Firefly worked with Packard to improve the design of the run's event pages and to train staff on how to maintain fundraising pages and data on their Convio platform.
Legal Info Network for Cancer
Legal Information Network for Cancer (LINC) is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to helping people with the business side of cancer. Serving the Central Virginia community, LINC provides information, education, counseling and referral services for legal and financial assistance to individuals confronted with the overwhelming issues that arise from the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. LINC's website had not been updated in many years and did not reflect the powerful work and extensive services provided by the organization. Firefly was excited to partner with both the LINC and Convio Go! teams on this project.
