Data Project Overview
Oh data, why must you confound us so? Your wily ways can make working with you a frustrating process. Thank goodness there are those that can speak – or even whisper – the data language and make sense out of data flow, reporting, segmentation and other arcane tasks.
- Data Discovery – We start by getting the lay of the land through a review of sample data files, reports and holding interviews with key stakeholders. We want to identify your pain points around data and understand your back office processes in order to make suggestions for the best concrete improvements to solve your problems.
- Data Wrangling –
The next step is to perform the tasks to get your data in line and playing nicely –
no matter where it comes from. Some of our clients like to take on some of this work (like merging and deduplication), and others prefer to leave it all to us.
- System Configuration & Launch –
We’ll move everything into a new system or, at the very least, document the steps you’ll need to take to keep your data merged and deduplicated effectively over time. We’ll do staff training and troubleshooting as well so you’ll be confident about taking the ongoing work on yourself.
