National Marrow Donor Program

It had been 2 years since we first worked with the National Marrow Donor Program team to launch their signature Be the Match on Campus fundraising campaign. After years of success, the team came back to us asking for strategic guidance on how to modernize the look and streamline the administrative work. The program had grown to more than 100 campuses, after all, so being efficient and finding new ways to engage supporters became Priority #1.

Pet Partners

Pet Partners is at its heart, an organization of volunteers. A staff of less than 20 people supports a volunteer base of nearly 10,000. These volunteers are a uniquely committed group. A majority are members of handler teams – a person and their animal – that undergo training and certification to act as therapy animals to people in hospitals, hospices, schools, and other facilities. Pet Partners was ready to give its volunteers the star treatment – planning and launch a new Volunteer Center with all kinds of bells and whistles.

White Plains Hospital

White Plains Hospital found themselves in need of a coordinated fundraising effort to maximize campaign returns. It became clear that a new appeal topic wasn’t enough, and that is when they looked to Firefly for help.

Grameen Foundation

The work of the Grameen Foundation focuses on harnessing the underappreciated strengths of the poor, an approach inspired by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus and the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh. Firefly designed and developed a responsive website on the Drupal platform that focused on optimizing the organization’s robust content, engaging donors, and showcasing the Foundation’s role as a champion of innovation in the world’s poorest regions.

Smile Train

Smile Train is always looking for innovative ways to increase engagement among their supporters. Their online engagement toolkit was already full of effective programs including athletic events and peer to peer fundraising. Smile Train was ready to expand their online ecosystem by adding an online community called Cleft World, designed by Firefly and built on the Small World Labs system.

Friends of the Earth

Friends of the Earth (FoE) was reaching the end of the year and had no online fundraising plan on the table. They called on Firefly to assist with creating an online fundraising strategy fast using the Salsa tools they had.

Morris Animal Foundation

Based in Denver, Morris Animal Foundation advances health and wellness research for animals. Seeking a fresh website that served their diverse audiences, MAF contracted Firefly Partners to design and build over the course of six months a new main site and develop tools that would allow donors and supporters to engage with the foundation easily.

Friends of the Earth

Friends of the Earth (FOE) and their federation of grassroots groups in 77 countries defend the environment and champion a more healthy and just world. They are progressive environmental advocates who pull no punches and speak sometimes uncomfortable truths to power. Their approach has yielded victories protecting the planet and its people for four decades. FOE had been aggressively implementing online fundraising and online advocacy campaigns to engage users. However, FOE staff did not have the expertise to evaluate the effectiveness of its website, advocacy, email or fundraising campaigns. Firefly was engaged to provide analysis and strategic planning services to help define the direction of future online communication efforts.
