National Marrow Donor Program

It had been 2 years since we first worked with the National Marrow Donor Program team to launch their signature Be the Match on Campus fundraising campaign. After years of success, the team came back to us asking for strategic guidance on how to modernize the look and streamline the administrative work. The program had grown to more than 100 campuses, after all, so being efficient and finding new ways to engage supporters became Priority #1.

Bread for the World

Bread for the World was looking for a way to convert more one time donors to monthly sustaining donors. Firefly worked with Bread for the World to develop a custom responsive donation form in Luminate Online and a hijack of the donate button to trigger a lightbox that encourages a donor to consider a monthly gift before completing the transaction.

Pet Partners

Pet Partners is at its heart, an organization of volunteers. A staff of less than 20 people supports a volunteer base of nearly 10,000. These volunteers are a uniquely committed group. A majority are members of handler teams – a person and their animal – that undergo training and certification to act as therapy animals to people in hospitals, hospices, schools, and other facilities. Pet Partners was ready to give its volunteers the star treatment – planning and launch a new Volunteer Center with all kinds of bells and whistles.

Nature Conservancy Canada

The Nature Conservancy of Canada joined the blogosphere with some help from their friends at Firefly Partners. We helped bring their storytelling to life by providing a bright design and developed a mobile-friendly site on the Convio CMS platform. The new blog, Land Lines, is helping achieve some core engagement goals for NCC: deepening online engagement, strengthening their position as a thought leader among conservation organizations in Canada, and encouraging financial support of their work.

VCU Massey

The good news? VCU Massey Cancer Center was named the official charitable fundraising partner of Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K in Richmond, Virginia. The not-so-good news? The peer to peer fundraising tool had to be rolled out by January 1st. This exciting new partnership meant that the 2014 Massey Challenge needed a new look with new functionality. In less than 10 weeks, Firefly worked with VCU to design and build a fully responsive TeamRaiser event that was engaging and device-friendly.

Smile Train

Smile Train is always looking for innovative ways to increase engagement among their supporters. Their online engagement toolkit was already full of effective programs including athletic events and peer to peer fundraising. Smile Train was ready to expand their online ecosystem by adding an online community called Cleft World, designed by Firefly and built on the Small World Labs system.

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation was approaching the 30th anniversary of Ride for Kids, its nationwide fundraising event series. It was time to celebrate - with a fresh new design on a brand new platform! Their main goal: make it easy for event participants to fundraise with the TeamRaiser tools.

Epilepsy Foundation

With the 2013 National Walk for Epilepsy approaching, one of Epilepsy Foundation’s biggest supporter campaigns of the year, the team was looking for a fresh new design for their peer-to-peer event.
