The Firefly team has over one million years of combined experience doing online work in the nonprofit world. Ok, that’s not true. But what is true is that we are a tight, cohesive and high-functioning team made up of hard working professionals who are geeky (but understandable).
Firefly is headed up by Jen Frazier. Jen brings over ten years of nonprofit online and email strategy and marketing expertise with her to every project at Firefly. Jen has managed and directed hundreds of online campaigns and is a nationally recognized expert in best practices in online engagement. Through her years of working with many of Planned Parenthood’s local offices, Jen has become extremely well versed in the overall needs and realities of smaller nonprofit organizations.
Maureen Wallbeoff, our Vice President, was with Planned Parenthood of Connecticut. Over her 16 year tenure, she rose from clinic assistant to the Director of e-Business for the organization. She possesses more than a decade of online campaign development and project management, along with a deep understanding of the strategic business needs of the nonprofit sector. A skilled presenter and facilitator, Maureen loves to bring people together to have authentic conversations that create consensus within an organization. She lives in Connecticut and is currently getting up the courage to teach her daughter to drive.
Renee Dunn,Technical Services Director, has been building web sites for over ten years. Renee has worked at GetActive and Convio as a web developer, project manager and information architect. Renee has strong experience building sites on a variety of open-source and proprietary platforms and working with jQuery and APIs to build custom solutions. Renee is based in Fredericksburg, VA and enjoys traveling and scuba diving.
Jen Maceyko, Client Services Director, has more than five years of nonprofit experience, particularly in international affairs and publishing. She was a project manager at Firefly for two years and continues to manage a number of client projects. Jen cut her online teeth as the Online Content Manager at Conservation International, where she was responsible for implementing the digital communication strategy, migrating individual programs into the organization’s flagship website and empowering content managers to tell their stories through a host of multimedia outlets. In a former life, she was a writer and editor with a penchant for the Chicago Manual of Style.
Sales and Administration
Christy Felton, Business Office Manager, has spent the last thirteen years managing and streamlining small businesses. She has a passion for doing a great job, no matter how big or small, and tying up loose ends. She is a Colorado native, who currently lives out of Longmont, with her husband on their organic farm. When she is not busy organizing, she balances her life creating poetry, greeting cards, and glass art.
Colleen Campbell, Project Coordinator, is used to wearing many hats and has nonprofit experience in volunteer management, development, and online communications. Prior to joining Firefly, Colleen worked with The Global FoodBanking Network where she led a major website redesign and database migration and built an online community of supporters from the ground up. She has a passion for social media for social good and for learning new tools. Colleen is a Chicago native now living in Milwaukee, and loves exploring the great outdoors, traveling, and attempting to learn to cook.
Brenda Kane, Project Manager, brings over seven years of nonprofit communications and project management experience to Firefly. Her specialties include online advocacy and fundraising, web campaign development, information architecture, user experience, and social media. She thrives on developing sound digital strategies and leveraging the latest online technology to help nonprofits achieve their organizational goals. Brenda lives in Denver and spends her free time writing poetry, teaching yoga, and exploring colorful Colorado.
Trang Ly, Project Manager, has over a decade of experience working in non-profit organizations. Prior to working at Firefly Partners, she has held marketing and database management positions at St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance and the Desert Botanical Garden, where she helped to implement and maintain various direct mail and online marketing campaigns. Trang currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona where she enjoys hosting themed parties, traveling, and indulging her shopping addiction.
Deb Swider, Project Manager, has more than ten years experience in the nonprofit sector and considers herself lucky enough to work with some great organizations like the FreestoreFoodbank, Best Friends Animal Society and as the Director of eMarketing for the ASPCA. When not working, you will find her outside without any form of technology in hand and with usually at least one of her five dogs, camping, paddle-boarding, hiking, rock climbing or just hanging out.
Michelle Wilczynski, Senior Project Manager, has several years of online communications, media, and advocacy experience within the workforce development community. Prior to joining Firefly, Michelle served as Senior Communications Associate for National Skills Coalition where managed all online communications efforts and press activities and helped craft the Coalition’s policy and political messages. In addition to being a political news junkie, she enjoys reading, running and exploring her new hometown of Pittsburgh.
Nathan Allen, Web Developer, has been designing and building websites for over a decade. Prior to Firefly, he was the Web & Multimedia Manager at Homes for Our Troops, where he was responsible for all things relating to their Internet presence. Based in Providence, Nathan is passionate about learning new things and providing online solutions to nonprofits. When Nathan isn't online, he enjoys painting, cooking, and traveling.
Leslie Beck, Web Developer, has more than 10 years of non-profit experience. Before joining Firefly, she worked as the Director of Internet Operations with American Rivers, a national river conservation organization. In this role she was responsible for creating and driving the organization’s online communications strategy and for management of the American River website. When Leslie isn’t busy helping non-profits she fills her time downhill skiing, reading and getting out on rivers.
Cheryl Herrick, Junior Web Developer, has over a decade of experience in website development and online marketing. Prior to joining Firefly, Cheryl was the online manager for the American Diabetes Association’s Southfield, Michigan office where she managed the fundraising strategy for statewide TeamRaiser events. Cheryl’s past work experience also includes the role of web designer for Leader Dogs for the Blind where she was responsible for both website development and online marketing. When offline, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and making crafty gifts for friends.
Coralie Meade Rodriguez
Senior Production Specialist, Coralie Rodriguez, brings over a decade of online production experience with nonprofit organizations. Most recently with UNICEF USA as Interactive Marketing Officer, Coralie was responsible for the production of all online materials, including all unicefusa.org properties, e-communications, and interactive media. Coralie is committed to improving the effectiveness of nonprofits using a variety of online technologies.
